1. How an engagement starts

AutoTech Exports coordinates U.S. sourcing, purchasing and export for international buyers. Sending a website request does not start a paid search, authorize a bid or create a purchase commitment. We agree the service, scope, budget and payment instructions with you before proceeding. Your transaction-specific written agreement and invoice set out the confirmed details.

2. Purchase services and fees

Copart & IAAI

1% of vehicle purchase price · $500 minimum

Our purchase fee is payable only when the lot is successfully won or a Buy It Now purchase is confirmed. If no purchase is made, no purchase fee is charged.

Closed dealer auctions

$950 per vehicle purchased

Our $950 purchase fee is payable only when the lot is successfully won. If the bid is unsuccessful, no purchase fee is charged. We manage eligible auction purchases on your behalf; we do not provide customer accounts, direct access or auction credentials.

Dealer, private seller or collector

3% of vehicle purchase price · $1,500 minimum

Our purchase fee is payable only after the purchase is confirmed. If no purchase is made, no purchase fee is charged.

Purchase fees cover seller communication, bidding or negotiation, purchase and payment coordination, and coordination of purchase and title documents. Percentage fees are calculated on the vehicle purchase price, not on transportation costs. We confirm the applicable channel and fee for equipment or specialist transactions before any commitment.

3. Custom sourcing is separate

The $400 sourcing fee is paid in full upfront. The search period begins once payment is received and we have agreed your buying brief.

We provide three updates within 14 calendar days: a shortlist of suitable options when available, or a search report when no suitable options are found. Each shortlist includes the source, available pricing and known vehicle information. If there are no suitable options, the report explains what we checked and why the available vehicles do not meet your brief.

Custom sourcing is a separate $400 service. It is not included in, or credited toward, any purchase fee, including the $950 closed dealer auction fee. Already found a specific vehicle? No sourcing fee applies unless you separately request a search.

The service is complete after all three agreed shortlists or search reports have been delivered within the search period, even if no suitable vehicle is found or you choose not to buy. Significant changes to the model, budget or other search requirements must be agreed separately.

4. Payment and cancellation

The sourcing fee is refundable if you cancel before the search has started. Once the search has started, it is non-refundable. You are paying for the agreed search work, not a guaranteed match or purchase.

A separately requested sourcing service remains payable under its own terms, whether or not a purchase follows. Vehicle payments and third-party charges have their own deadlines, confirmed before you authorize the transaction. The purchase service fee is not an advance auction-access charge.

To cancel or change instructions, contact us promptly at info@autotechexports.com. After a bid, auction win or confirmed purchase, cancellation depends on the seller’s or auction’s terms and any commitments already made. We will explain the applicable position and costs; do not assume a completed purchase can be reversed.

5. History checks and inspections

We check available vehicle history through the sources available for the asset and share the findings before purchase. Records may be incomplete, especially for equipment or older vehicles.

Physical inspections and specialist checks are optional paid add-ons, available only for assets being purchased through AutoTech Exports. Scope, availability and price are agreed before the check. A history report or inspection cannot guarantee that every defect, prior event or discrepancy will be identified.

6. Additional expenses and delivery

The vehicle price, auction or seller fees, banking charges, inspections, storage, third-party title and export charges, transportation, cargo insurance, customs duties and destination taxes are separate and calculated individually.

Transportation is arranged at the carriers' actual invoiced cost, with no AutoTech Exports markup. Cargo insurance is an optional paid add-on. Carrier liability coverage is not the same as separately purchased cargo insurance. Coverage, exclusions and claim procedures depend on the applicable policy.

We coordinate car hauling within the USA and international container, RoRo or air delivery through vetted independent providers. Quotes depend on the vehicle or equipment, route, destination and method. Availability, transit dates and destination requirements are confirmed for each shipment; delivery times are estimates unless specifically agreed otherwise.

7. Approval, documents and destination

You approve the vehicle and purchase limit before we bid or commit. Please provide accurate buyer and destination information. Export and import eligibility, documents, duties and local registration requirements must be checked for the specific asset and destination before purchase. Worldwide delivery coordination does not mean every asset can be shipped to every country.

Auction, dealer and marketplace names identify purchasing channels, not an endorsement or partnership claim. Availability depends on eligibility and the specific transaction.
