1. Who to contact

2. Information collected

When you submit a request, we receive your name, email address or WhatsApp number, preferred language, destination, requested service, vehicle or equipment details, budget, any listing or VIN you supply, your message and your contact permission. We also receive information you choose to send in later correspondence.

Website, form and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, request times and security signals to deliver and protect the service. Please do not enter passport details, bank or card information, or other sensitive documents in this form.

3. Why we use it

We use enquiry details to respond, understand your buying requirements, prepare options or quotations and coordinate services you request. Technical information helps operate the website and prevent spam, fraud and misuse. Submitting an enquiry is not a subscription to a marketing newsletter.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, the purposes are responding to steps you request before a contract, performing agreed services, our legitimate interests in secure business communications and fraud prevention, and compliance with legal duties. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it by contacting us.

4. Providers and other recipients

• Formspree processes and delivers form submissions.
• Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and security signals to distinguish people from bots.
• Google Workspace handles our business email. The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure.
• If you contact us on WhatsApp, that service processes the messages under its own privacy terms.

For an agreed purchase or shipment, relevant information may be shared with the seller, auction, inspector, carrier, insurer or other provider needed to carry out your instructions. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights. We do not add advertising pixels or sell enquiry lists through this website.

5. Website analytics and visit source

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, page views, referring websites, browser and device categories, countries and page performance. Cloudflare processes these measurements and provides reports to us. Its Web Analytics service does not use analytics cookies or track people across websites. Our integration does not send your name, contact information, VIN, message or other form contents to Web Analytics. It runs only on public pages of autotechexports.com, not our order editor or development previews.

Separately, to understand where enquiries come from, we temporarily retain campaign labels and the referring website's domain in this browser tab's session storage. These labels expire after 30 minutes and are included with your enquiry only when you submit the form. This enquiry-source feature does not retain the referring page's path or query, advertising click identifiers, or a cross-visit visitor ID. Please do not put personal details in URLs or campaign labels. You may also tell us how you heard about us in the optional form field.

Our Web Analytics integration and visit-source feature are disabled when the browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. No advertising pixels are installed. Hosting, access-control and security providers may use technical storage to operate their services; their own notices describe their practices. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for more information. Disabling scripts may prevent the form or security check from working.

6. Storage, retention and security

Enquiries can be stored in our form service and business mailbox. For enquiries that do not become orders, our retention policy is to delete enquiry records under our control 12 months after the last communication, unless retention is required by law or for an active dispute. Purchase and accounting records are kept separately for applicable mandatory periods. Provider backup and security-log retention may differ. You can ask us to review or delete enquiry information using the contact details above.

Our office is in the United States. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries, whose privacy rules may differ from those in your country. We use HTTPS for website communications and restrict business access, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices and requests

You can ask to access, correct or delete information you have given us, or ask us to stop optional contact. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent or complain to your local data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity and retain records we are legally required to keep. Do not send identity documents unless we agree a suitable verification method.

8. Updates and other websites

We will post changes to this notice on this page and update the effective date. Linked auctions, dealers, messaging platforms and other websites have their own privacy practices. Our services are intended for adult buyers and business representatives, not children.
